U Del over night stay

We are looking to visit University of Delaware, and are looking to stay overnight for a 9am visit.

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay

can anyone say anything about the Marriott on campus or anything else close by

U Del over night stay

The Marriot on Campus (on the northern end of campus) is lovely, but a little overpriced in my opinion.

Just about as equally located (on the southern end of campus) are the Embassy Suites and the Sleep Inn on 896 across from ';The Bob';. They are both very close to TGIFridays.

If I had visiting family members, I%26#39;d direct them to one of these 3.

Avoid the motel on Main St. Cleanliness issues. HoJo%26#39;s is average, does have a restaurant, but service is s-l-o-w.

Please wear comfortable shoes and plan on lots of walking. Parking is scarce on campus when classes are in session.

UD is a beautiful campus...you%26#39;ll love it!

U Del over night stay

We just got back from Freshman Family weekend and stayed at the Homewood Suites which is in the same complex as the Embassy Suites and Sleep Inn. It was great to just walk to the football game. Very nice hotel. Since you are visiting the campus, check in at the Visitor%26#39;s Center. They%26#39;ll probably direct you to park in the Trabant Center Garage while you are on campus.
