Hi. I am looking to rent a house for a mini-week in September that is on the water (bayside) or on the beach. Considering it will be off season I think I can find something for the mini-week. I found this one site on the web that shows a house with indoor and outdoor pool etc. It looks great but I can%26#39;t seem to find any reviews or anything. Could it be that it is too good to be true - anyone can post great pictures and description on the web. How can I check if this is for real? The site is www.bethany-rentals.com I don%26#39;t have a lot of time to search the whole internet - so any suggestions for any other house would be appreciated. We will be a large group. Any other beach in Delaware or MD is also fine.
Thank you
Is this too good to be true? Bethany rental suggestions?It%26#39;s not too good to be true--prices drop like a rock after Labor Day, and I%26#39;m assuming you realize the pools aren%26#39;t part of the house, but belong to the community.
Most important that you may not realize--it%26#39;s a few miles to the ocean and the heart of Bethany (the mailing address for this community is actually Ocean View, a totally different town) and you%26#39;ll need to drive from the house to get to the beach or pretty much anything else you want to do.
If the house were on or walking distance to the beach, you%26#39;d be paying a lot more than what they%26#39;re asking in September. Good luck!
Is this too good to be true? Bethany rental suggestions?Have you considered a condo?? We stay at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach - -oceanfront high rise resort with private beach, several pools (some indoor) and other offerings. They also have townhouses and homes across the street in the tennis community. Everything is centrally located to town and close to Ocean City and Rehoboth Beach. Call local Bethany Beach realtors for rental info. Don%26#39;t go through Sea Colony%26#39;s site - Resort Quest (too expensive). Try Tansey Warner or Crowley - both have web sites and you%26#39;ll be able to view the condo and townhouse offerings. The prices drop dramatically mid Sept. - the owners want to get a few more rentals in before Fall. Very reasonable. We leave this Saturday!!!!!
or try vrbo.com
Renting direct from the owner saves the commissions.
Should be some Sea Colony units on there if that%26#39;s what you%26#39;re after.
