Return from our house hunting trip to Newark

Hi

A huge thanks to all of you who posted on areas to check out for our house hunting trip to Newark.

We were very fortunate to find a home in Newark in a nice subdivision southwest of the University between Old Baltimore Pike and 40.

We did look in the Middletown and Odessa area while we were there. It appears to be a nice and growing area, but we wanted to be closer to my husbands future work site in Glascow. Housing there was nice but because many of the homes were newer, there was little privacy between the homes.

Thanks for letting us know ';the rest of the story.';

I hope you%26#39;ll be really happy in Newark. I%26#39;m not as familiar with the area where you%26#39;ll be living as I am with the downtown %26amp; northwest Newark areas. But I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll find lots to do and friendly neighbors. I%26#39;ve always said Newark and Delaware generally are a little oasis of ';niceness'; in the midst of the megalopolis from Boston to DC.

Best wishes on a new chapter in your life. Hope your DH enjoys his new job in GlasGow.
