Six Paupers Restaurant in Hockessin (the old Shield%26#39;s Lumber building) has great food and atmosphere. They also do gift certificates online (www.sixpaupers.com). I just bought one. Food, beer and wine selection all great. Tiop notch service also.

Depends on what atmosphere you%26#39;re looking for. Six Paupers and Dome are both great choices. They can get very crowded/loud inside, and the locals tend to bring their pampered and not always well behaved children there instead of cooking family meals at home.

Six Paupers - their Mushroom and Goat Cheese tart is delicious, they serve Harp cool and crisp on tap, the Cedar Plan Salmon never fails to disappoint

Dome - go with the specials, they do a very good steak, vegetables are always perfectly prepared, white pizza is a plesant surprise, skip dessert.

Back Burner - more intimate atmosphere, better for a romantic meal or dinign with the in-laws. Slightly overpriced and service/food quality go up and down throughout the year. Can be a bit snooty at times, but...that%26#39;s Delaware for you.
