Bethany beach area activities for kids

Hi everyone,

This will be our first visit to the Delaware beaches. We have 3 kids 4,6 and 7. Besides the beach and pool (staying at Bear Trap Dunes), are there other activities good for young kids? Thanks!

Bethany beach area activities for kids

The bandstand features free family-friendly performances every evening in season. Over the years, we%26#39;ve seen brass bands, magicians, jugglers, folk musicians, kids%26#39; theatre groups, animal acts. Often they%26#39;ll call kids up to the stage as volunteers, so sit close.

I%26#39;m assuming reconstruction of the bandstand has been completed (it wasn%26#39;t finished during our last visit in the Spring, but it looked close).

Other than the bandstand and just hanging out at the beach %26amp; pool, you may need to drive yourself 20 minutes north to Rehoboth or south to Ocean City for some major amusements appealing to young kids.
