Years ago, travelling Rt 13 (I think) wh\e used to stop to eat at a restaurant that was shaped like a ship that was parked on land on the side of the highway on US RT 13 in Delaware. Does anyone remember it and does it still exist? What was its name and where was it?
Thanks!

Urgent request...Looking for a restaurant looks like a shiphi, I know a place like that, I pass it on the way to Chincoteague, from DC. I go Rt 50 to 13. I%26#39;m not sure where exactly it is but it is on a river or inlet, right as you go onto a bridge, perhaps the Severn river. I%26#39;ll try to catch the name of it next time I go.
Urgent request...Looking for a restaurant looks like a shipBoehlhoff, I believe the one you%26#39;re thinking of is at the north end of the Choptank River bridge as you approach Cambridge, Md. on Rt. 50. I haven%26#39;t paid a lot of attention to it while whizzing by, but I believe it used to be a restaurant. Last time I bothered to look, it was in a fairly advanced state of decay and it wouldn%26#39;t surprise me if it will be gone soon, if it isn%26#39;t already.
vin_mcp, if you think it might be the one in Cambridge, you may want to try posting to that forum. But it%26#39;s a good 45 minutes away from Rt. 13, and definitely no longer operating as a restaurant.
There%26#39;s one between Seaford and Laurel, DE alongside Route 13. The sign said it was a ';seafood and Italian'; restaurant. I just passed it 2 weeks ago, driving from Philly to Salisbury MD, but I didn%26#39;t catch the name. Sorry!
The restaurant you remember is on south bound Rt 13 just south of Seaford. It has changed much ovrer the years. It appears to be catering to the local Mexican trade at this time.
