Baltimore airport

Hello,

My son recently moved to the Wilmington area. I noticed airfares for us are much cheaper flying into BWI. Is that feasible? Is there any public type transportation from BWI to Wilmington that would make it worth flying into BWI say over PHL or Wilmington. thanks

Yep, BWI usually has better fares. But the extra cost to get to Wilmington can eat up the savings.

There%26#39;s an Amtrak train between BWI and Wilmington, but it%26#39;s at least $34/person one way.

Delaware Express Shuttle (302.454.7800 or 800.648.5466) charges over $100 per passenger for van service or around $150 for a town car for up to three people. Includes tip, I think. (By contrast, it%26#39;s about $35 from PHL to downtown Wilmington.)

The Wilmington airport has only a couple flights a day -- to Atlanta only, operated by Delta. The airport code is ILG if you want to check the schedule and cost. I%26#39;ve read service may expand eventually.
