Best Restaurant

We have never eaten at Bethany Beach. Any restaurant suggestions? We will be there in August.

Best Restaurant

What kind of food do you like? What price range would you prefer? Will you be taking kids? What ages? Or is it just grownups? Is it a special occasion?

Bethany doesn%26#39;t have the same kind of variety and number of restaurants as Rehoboth, but it would help to know what your preferences are.

Best Restaurant

We are a couple, 51 yrs old, no kids, open to any and all cuisines, price range for entree 15 and up. Looking for sit down restaurants, not interested in all you can eat, not interested in a food stand.

Thanks, that helps. Several places come to mind:

www.mangomikes.com/Pages/Mangoshome.html - Mango%26#39;s, great view of the ocean, so-so food but fun for appetizers and drinks

www.difebos.com/htmlPages/restaurant.html# - DiFebo%26#39;s, Italian, won a reader%26#39;s choice award for best Bethany restaurant last year

http://bethanyblues.com/ - Bethany Blues, best known for barbecue. Won reader%26#39;s choice award for best Bethany restaurant this year.

http://www.fusion-sedona.com/sedonamain.html - Sedona, the most upscale restaurant in town, outstanding menu, pricey. (Not sure why the website is so outdated.)

www.northeastseafoodkitchen.com/menu.shtml - Northeast Seafood Kitchen, actually in Ocean View (inland) but worth the trip for great fresh seafood.

Oh my gosh--you have to try Kingston Grille right in downtown Bethany. The food is outstanding; fresh and very good. The little loaf of appetizer bread is amazing. The only thing I object to is the little tiny glasses of expensive wine by the glass.

Go during the week and call for a table. The place is really crowded on weekends (but it%26#39;s because it%26#39;s so good).

We love DiFebo%26#39;s...I always get the crab cakes, and I%26#39;m never disappointed. Make sure you make reservations.

Blue Coast would be perfect for you! Here%26#39;s a link to their website: http://www.bluecoastseafoodgrill.com/

I guarantee you won%26#39;t be disappointed. The food is amazing, creatively prepared, the surroundings are not your basic ';nautical'; restaurant decor, and the service is wonderfully attentive. The family that owns it also has restaurants in several other locations (Lewes, Rehoboth, and Fenwick) and they are all stand-outs. If you%26#39;re down in my neighborhood of Fenwick Island, stop by Catch 54, another of their places, right off Route 54. The views of the water are unbelievable.

Have a wonderful vacation!
