Two Seas Restaurant

Just wondering if Two Seas will still be open in September - and for how long? We will be visiting all of next week and are hoping for that. This is, by far, one of the best restaurants in the Rehoboth/Dewey area. They do keep it very quiet - as it is a family operation, I believe - but we love to go there at least once on our Delaware excursion every year!

You could call to ask -- 302 227-2610. Two Seas used to be one of our favorites, too, but we think the quality and service have declined over the past few years. Or maybe it%26#39;s the same as ever, but they just suffer by comparison to some of the newer restaurants in the area, like Venus on the Half Shell, with more interesting menus and better service.

We just had dinner at Two Seas last night and are, unfortunately, back home to reality. We had dinner at quite a few places in the last week and would, again, have to say that is was our very favorite as far as fresh and innovative cuisine was concerned. Plus,everyone was so nice and the ambiance can%26#39;t be beat. It is only open a few more weeks (just on Thurs., Fri., Sat.) for the season.

Other great restaurants are EDEN - excellent...and THE CULTURED PEARL - they have moved to Rehoboth Ave. and it is gorgeous. My better half was a chef and we both work in the restaurant business, so we can be trusted with this!

But - don%26#39;t forget to just simply get down and dirty and do the blue crab thing some night! With tons of beer and friends. CHEERS!
