Can anyone recommend a place to go on a day trip from Rehoboth to the Chesapeake Bay? Maybe a nice, quaint town, good restaurants, shops, places to walk around.
Thanks
Good day trips from Rehoboth to the Chesapeake Bay?
You might want to post this in the Maryland forum to get more input since that%26#39;s where the Chesapeake and all the towns you%26#39;re asking about are. But for what you%26#39;re describing, I%26#39;d give either St. Michaels or Chestertown a shot.

Assuming you%26#39;re avoiding weekend traffic, both are a two-hour drive from Rehoboth.

Incidentally, both towns are a coupld of miles inland from the bay along scenic tributary rivers. There are very few towns like you%26#39;re describing actually *on* the bay.
St Micheals is nice and I like their maritime museum but it is a long ride for a side trip. Hope you are not planning this on a weekend. For quaint and historic how about a very short trip up to Lewes?
We%26#39;ll be there for a week so I%26#39;ll definitely make it a weekday. Lewes is certainly a possibility. I just wanted to try something a little different. I%26#39;ll check those towns out.
Thanks so much.
I would recommend a ferry ride over to Cape May -- makes a great day trip!
It%26#39;s only 75 miles from Rehoboth to St. Michaels. I think it is one of the best ways to spend a day. Beautiful, wonderful restaurants, casual and upscale shopping. I would go for it.
