Bath house or something like in Rehobeth Beach?

I was wondering if there is a place to shower and change or wash off the sand before changing for the boardwalk in the eveing? We only plan on staying for the day.

If so, where is it? If not, what do people do?

Thanks for the help.

There are state parks north and south of rehoboth which offer parking ,showers ,and concessions for a fee. There are water faucetts at most of the steps coming from the beach to rinse sand off legs. The public bathrooms on the boardwalk are not changing rooms.

The info Longnecker provided is accurate...but don%26#39;t get the idea that the showers at the state park are convenient. Both of them would require you to use a car and pay to enter. There are little foot washers on the boardwalk but nothing you can shower with. Besides the hotels off the boardwalk, there is no place for you to shower and change.

The DE parks are $8./day for out-of-state cars. Cape Henlopen%26#39;s showers can get crowded with campers.

Lewes breakwater beach also has a few showers, and here you can park right at the sand%26#39;s edge for .75/hr. Lewes is only a short distance north of Rehoboth.

Summer Place Hotel offers and outside shower (hot) for 5 dollars per person
