Two family%26#39;s (with 5 children under 5 between them) are looking to rent one beach house this summer. We%26#39;ve heard that Bethany Beach is the place for family%26#39;s.
Is that accurate? I
f so, any beach house recommendations OR any recommendations for using a beach house broker???
Thanks!

There are several options for renting in Bethany. My family has rented in Bethany for the past 40 years. For the first 38 we rented through local realty companies, Century 21 Wilgus, Coldwell Banker, ReMax, etc. All those companies can be found on the Bethany website. For the last two years we have used rent through owner websites such as vrbo.com and cyberrentals.com. We have had success with them all. The plus to using the internet is that most sites will have pictures of the interiors and exteriors of the homes. Word of warning, Bethany rentals prices are pretty high if you are planning to stay in town. Only one area of town that we personally avoid due to smells and noise is the 100 block of Hollywood Street. It%26#39;s right behind the arcade and fast food places on the main street. Bethany is a good place for families. It has become a little too crowded for my taste, but I have been spoiled by the early days when it was a sleepy beach town. Happy to answer any questions you may have. I grew up vacationing in Bethany and it remains one of my favorite places.

I hope you have been able to find a nice rental in Bethany for the summer. my wife and I finally had to buy a home there which we rent but it is not large enough for your group. The water tends to be nice in late June into early July. Be sure to take lots of sun screen and bug repellent with you.
There is lots to do 20 minutes north or south, but Bethany has remained family oriented without the headaches of the really large crowds.
