Hello. I%26#39;m relatively new to this area, and am looking for a weekend stay in Rehoboth beach in July. I had hoped to rent a beach/house or condo for the weekend (2-3 nights) but am not finding any availability. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay with 2 adults, a small child, and a small dog??? I don%26#39;t want to spend more than $200/night and hoping to be as close to the beach as possible. Last resort, dog can be boarded. THANKS!
Rehoboth visit with peti believe most houses %26amp; condos rent by the week or longer....the owners aren%26#39;t going to want to rent for a trip that short, they%26#39;d lose a lot of money doing that.
you%26#39;ll do better looking for a hotel. try dewey beach as well, it%26#39;s right next to rehoboth %26amp; no problem to get to rehoboth from there for shopping, eating, etc. and dogs are allowed on the beach in dewey (before and after lifeguard hours), which they%26#39;re not in rehoboth during the season.
sorry i can%26#39;t help with recommendations, i don%26#39;t know anything about hotel prices or which ones allow dogs, but i know several do.
Rehoboth visit with petHello, I researched hotel and B%26amp;B accomodations that allow pets and found several. Go to www.beach-fun.com and click on ';specific needs or allow pets';. I%26#39;ll save you some time by saying that the Breakers Hotel is the closest to the beach and the rooms run btw $110 %26amp; 265. They also charge $20 per dog/per day. I think I saw on TripAdvisor mixed reviews on this place. The Corner Cupboard Inn is a B%26amp;B that is around $170 a night and walking distance to the beach and other attractions. They also charge $20 a dog/per day. They also allow children of any age. Other options are the Sea Esta Motels I or III or IV.
I found that many of the B%26amp;Bs do not allow children under 10 and some do not allow children at all. I had to chuckle when I realized they allow any size dog, but are picky about children, LOL. Oh well. :)
I decided to board my 2 puppies for the week because the cost to board them where I live is the same as the hotel charge. The kennel is a really good one and I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;ll miss one another, but this way my family and I can come and go without the worry or guilt of having the puppies kooked up in a hotel room. Rehoboth does not allow dogs on the beach.
I did not look into condos that allow pets so I can%26#39;t provide any info on them. I can say that it%26#39;s usually a better deal to rent a condo for a week, but you must do it soon. You could try calling one of the realtors listed on these websites www.beach-fun or the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce. They may be able to help you find a condo. Good luck and have a great time! Rehoboth is wonderful.
Hi. Try craigslist.com in the DC or Baltimore forums for vacation rentals. You can probably post your wants too. Have a great time.
Hi -- just wanted to let you know that pets are very pet friendly in Rehoboth Beach. Whenever I%26#39;m there, I constantly see dogs being walked, and some places have Pet Cafés, which are basically just bowls of water if your dog is thirsty.
