Atlantic Sands Location?

I am going to stay at the Atlantic Sands on the boardwalk. How close is that to the busy part of the boardwalk? Do you know anything about the Atlantic Sands Hotel?

i don%26#39;t know anything about the hotel....but the rehoboth boardwalk is VERY short, only about a mile long.

the southernmost few blocks are just residential. the middle part is the ';busy'; part, a couple blocks south %26amp; north of rehoboth avenue. south of ';the avenue'; is the busiest, with the amusement park %26amp; games %26amp; such. north of the avenue, where the atlantic sands is, has some restaurants %26amp; bars but for the most part, it should be relatively quiet.

The Atlantic Sands is more towards the north end of the boardwalk, but as Dogmom said, the boardwalk is only about a mile long, so I thought it was a great location. We stayed at a neigboring condo, but hubby and I thought that if we wanted to go back for a weekend, we would definitely consider the Sands. We loved the TIki Bar that sat right on the boardwalk. It has a restaurant that offered a pretty good breakfast, although that was the only meal that we had there.

It%26#39;s located only about a block down from the main drag (Rehoboth Avenue). If you end up with a beachfront/pool view, you might not like how noisy it is in that section. They have music going out by the pool and it gets a little lively. Things did seem to quiet down fairly early in the p.m. though (by 10) even on the weekends. We were there the middle of June, so I don%26#39;t know if the hours are extended as the summer progresses or not.
