I%26#39;m looking for suggestions on places to stay for a weekend in August. There%26#39;s a group of ten of us in our twenties. Thanks.

I would recommend looking at calling the list of motels listed on www.beach-fun.com. Most motels in Dewey are the same, the only real difference being whether they are bayside or oceanside of Route 1. Since Dewey isn%26#39;t that big, don%26#39;t worry so much about location as nothing takes very long to walk.

Keep in mind that weekends are a lot more expensieve than the week (can be up to 2x more expensive) and often require a 2 night minimum staff.

Also, if you are going to Dewey for the nightlife, I strongly recommend staying at a motel in Dewey, not Rehoboth. This will make your transportation issues much easier (i.e. walking) if you decide to imbide in the libations offered at the fine entertainment and music establishments.

Hi - We just got back from a stay at the Atlantic View, which is right on the beach. Very neat and clean hotel with friendly staff. One of our friend%26#39;s son and his friends ( in their early 20%26#39;s) came down for a few days and loved the location. Many bars witin a few blocks. They never drove anywhere. This hotel was a grreat location. This is one of the only hotels right on the beach, but there are many on the main street, which is just a one block walk to the beach. Good luck!
