The beach and shopping???

Hi there,

I need some help.

I want to surprise my girlfriend and take her to a nice resort/hotel for a couple of days in late June (4 days 3 nights). I���m looking for place that���s close to the beach (maybe on it) with great shopping nearby. Not too expensive.

I���ve posted this message in a couple of forums/states, just hoping for some good advice on a place you really enjoyed, maybe an undiscovered gem. Thanks for any suggestions.

The beach and shopping???

Rehoboth Beach is good for shopping, as it has outlets on the main highway, and lots of little shops on the boardwalk and main drag. Dewey, which is only about 15 minutes south of Rehoboth, is good for its nightlight. The Rusty Rudder is a resturant with (usually) live bands. The only hotel Ive stayed in was the Sand Castle. Its on the main drag, and I dont recall being able to see the ocean, but there is an indoor pool and sauna, and the staff was nice.

David;I have never been there but just booked The Bellmore Hotel for 5 nites. It sounds really pretty and has a spa as well! I hope it lives up to the pics on the website. It%26#39;s 2 blocks from the beach and close to the little fru fru shops which should be just fine for my DD and me!
