We vacation in the Dewey Beach/Rehobeth area quite frequently and are aware of the outlets %26amp; strip malls, walmart,etc... However, I was just curious as to where the nearest major mall would be and how far? Thanks....

Christiana would be the largest and has many major ';box stores'; around the mall as well.
Dover Mall is about 45 minutes north of Rehoboth and then the Salisbury Mall is also about 45 minutes southwest. The Salisbury area has many new box stores on Highway 13 such as Marshalls, Bed, Bath %26amp; Beyond, Kohls, Ross - all very close to the mall. There is also a big Athlete by Vernon Powell behind the mall that offers an extended line of shoes (be sure to check out their clearance section - you might find a great deal). Lots of new interesting and fun looking restaurants around on 13 as well.
There are a few new vacancies in the Tanger Outlets - hoping that they fill before spring with some new and exciting merchants.
The good news, shopping in Delaware, is that everything is tax free.
