First trip to Rehoboth-travel with toddler

We are planning a 4 day trip to Rehoboth Beach in late July (midweek stay) as part of a week long trip with our 2.5 year old.

Can anyone recommend a clean place to stay? Our child has some immune-system issues and cleanliness is my top priority in looking for a place to stay, but we will also be traveling on a budget.

A few places we were thinking about so far are the Atlantic Sands, the Atlantis Inn and the Oceanus.

Also, if we were to run into rain, are there other indoor toddler friendly activities available? Any hotels with an indoor pool that we might consider?

THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!!

Hi Merj,

We started going to Rehoboth and Dewey when my youngest was 3, so I guess that made her an active toddler. We have stayed at a number of locations, but only at The Breakers did they have an indoor pool, and I have to tell you it wasnt very clean, so we didnt use it...that was a long time ago though. We stay at Surf Club most of the time in Dewey, which is right on the beach, we love it there. There are a number of places in Rehoboth that I hear have pools indoors and are quite nice too. We stayed last year at a very clean place on route 1 next to the golf course it was immaculate and our room was huge with 3 queens. If I can find the name I will send it to you. It had an outdoor pool, and it was extremely clean...the only downside was it was 3 mi to beach, but close to shopping and games.

Have Fun! Lots to do and see for kids, of all ages, we go every year and have for the past 14!

I don%26#39;t know anything about the Oceanus, but the Atlantis and the Sands are both nice. The Sands is beachfront and the Atlantis is about two blocks to the beach. I would also recommend the Brighton Suites on Wilmington Ave.
